Chemically synthesized from high-quality, high-purity refined raw materials, ethylene glycol distearate, alias pearlescent agent, pearlescent flakes, pearlescent flakes diester.

Performance and use

MT-EGDS45 is insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, toluene, soybean oil, mineral oil, compatible with most surfactants, and stable in a wide pH range.

MT-EGDS45 dissolves or emulsifies after heating in the surfactant complex, and lens-like crystals precipitate during the cooling process, producing a pearlescent luster.

MT-EGDS45 is used as pearlescent agent, sunscreen agent, thickener, emulsifier, viscosity regulator in detergents, shampoos, balms, and conditioners, which can make the liquid present a soft and rich pearl luster.

MT-EGDS45 has the effects of moisturizing the skin, nourishing hair and antistatic in liquid washing products. It is non-irritating to the skin and does not damage the hair.

MT-EGDS45 is suitable for cosmetics such as shampoo, bath gel, moisturizing cream and liquid detergent.

MT-EGDS45 can be used as a metal processing lubricant, fiber lubricant and softener, solubilizer, defoamer, antistatic agent.

MT-EGDS45 can also be used as a pearlescent dispersant in the production of ointments and disinfection and sterilization liquids.

MT-EGDS45 needs to be hot mixed when used. If cold mixed, the pearlescent flakes need to be prepared into pearlescent slurry in advance.

Packaging and storage

20kg or 25kg/bag, composite plastic-lined kraft paper bag. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is one year.
