Compressor inhibitor STD-7

Introduction

Compressor inhibitor STD-7 is a highly effective inhibitor with antioxidant effect. It can reduce, prevent and remove the free radicals and polymers formed by chain growth of unsaturated aromatic hydrocarbons under the action of trace oxygen, light, heat and metal ions. It has a dispersing and purifying effect on the small amount of polymers generated, so that the polymers are dispersed in the medium and flow away to prevent equipment blockage. At the same time, it also has the function of passivating metals.

Properties

The appearance of this additive is brown-red or orange-red oily liquid, alkaline, and irritating to the human body.

Uses

This additive is mainly used for the inhibition of compressors and compressor equipment systems of ethylene units, extending the operating life of compressors and ensuring the normal production of ethylene units.

Precautions

1. Injection point: In order to enable the additive to be injected into each section of the compressor with each section of the wash oil pump to achieve the scale inhibition effect of the entire compression system, it should be injected at the inlet pipeline of the cracking gas compressor wash oil pump.

2. Injection amount: The injection amount is based on the compressor feed amount, generally 2~10wppm. It is recommended to inject 10wppm into each section for 7 days to make the effective ingredients in the additive form a protective film on the compressor surface and passivate the metal ions. Then reduce the injection amount of sections 1. 2. and 3 to 8wppm, and sections 4 and 5 to 4wppm. Inject continuously and distribute each section reasonably.

Packaging

The packaging is plastic-lined iron barrel or plastic barrel, with a net weight of 160±0.5 kg per barrel.

Safety protection

This additive is non-toxic, alkaline, and flammable. It should be stored away from fire. If it comes into contact with the skin, rinse with clean water for 10 minutes.
