Cationic polyacrylamide

Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a white powder with a molecular weight ranging from 8 million to 25 million. The ionicity ranges from 20% to 85% and has good water solubility. It can be dissolved in water at any ratio and is insoluble in organic solvents. The effective pH value range is 1 to 14. showing the characteristics of a high polymer electrolyte, which is suitable for the treatment of negatively charged and organic-rich wastewater.

Uses:

Sludge dewatering: The corresponding brand of this product can be selected according to the properties of the sludge, which can effectively perform gravity sludge dewatering before the sludge enters the filter press. During dehydration, large flocs are produced, which do not stick to the filter cloth and do not disperse during the filter press. The dosage is small, the dehydration efficiency is high, and the solid content of the mud cake is below 80%.

Treatment of sewage and organic wastewater: This product is positively charged in acidic or alkaline media, so it is extremely effective for flocculation and precipitation of sewage with negatively charged suspended particles in sewage. For example, wastewater from alcohol factories, breweries, monosodium glutamate factories, sugar factories, meat food factories, beverage factories, textile printing and dyeing factories, etc., cationic polyacrylamide is several times or dozens of times higher than anionic polyacrylamide, nonionic polyacrylamide or inorganic salt flocculants, because such wastewater generally carries negative charges.

Water treatment flocculant for water plants: This product has the characteristics of small dosage, good effect and low cost, especially when used in combination with inorganic flocculants.

Oilfield chemicals: such as clay anti-swelling agent, thickener for oilfield acidification, etc.

Papermaking additives: Cationic PAM paper enhancer is a water-soluble cationic polymer containing carbamoyl, which has the functions of enhancement, retention and filtration, and can effectively improve the strength of paper. At the same time, this product is also a high-efficiency dispersant.
